Getting Started
How do I install Roamly?
Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad, search for "Roamly VPN," and tap Get. Open the app and sign in to get started. Roamly requires iOS 17 or later.
How do I sign in?
Open the app and choose Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. That's it — there's no separate email/password signup. Your account is created automatically on first sign-in.
How do I connect?
Open the app, pick a location (or leave it on auto), and tap the big shield button. iOS will ask once to allow the VPN configuration — approve it. Within a couple of seconds you'll see "Connected" and your traffic is routed through an encrypted WireGuard tunnel.
Free Trial & Subscription
Is there a free trial?
Yes. New subscribers start with a 3-day free trial. You're not charged during the trial, and you can cancel before it ends at no cost. Roamly is a premium VPN — an active subscription (or trial) is required to connect.
What does Premium include?
Unlimited connection time, all server locations, max-speed servers, and built-in threat protection (phishing/malware domain blocking). Choose the plan length that suits you (monthly or yearly) right inside the app.
What happens after the trial?
If you don't cancel, your subscription renews automatically at the standard price for the plan you chose, billed through your Apple ID. You can cancel anytime (see below) and keep access until the end of the current period.
Billing & Payment
How is payment handled?
All purchases are processed securely by Apple through in-app purchase, using the payment method on your Apple ID. Roamly never sees your card details.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Cancellation is managed by Apple: on your iPhone/iPad open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Roamly VPN → Cancel Subscription. You keep full access until the end of your paid period. Cancelling during the free trial costs nothing.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com (or Settings → your name → Media & Purchases → Purchase History), find the Roamly charge, and choose "Report a Problem / Request a Refund." During the 3-day free trial you're not charged, so cancelling then costs nothing.
Where's my receipt?
Apple emails your receipt to your Apple ID address after each charge. You can also see all purchases in Settings → your name → Media & Purchases → Purchase History.
Connectivity & Performance
The VPN is slow today.
Try switching locations. Same-country servers are usually fastest; cross-continent routes (e.g. you in Europe → Singapore) will always be slower. Some destinations rate-limit VPN IPs, which is outside our control.
A site says I can't access it from a VPN.
Streaming services and banks often block known VPN IPs. We rotate IPs, but the cat-and-mouse game means some sites won't work consistently. For banking specifically, don't use a VPN — you may lock yourself out.
Does Roamly work on mobile?
Roamly is an iOS app for iPhone and iPad (iOS 17+). An Android app is on the roadmap.
Privacy & Logs
Do you keep a history of what I browse?
No. Roamly does not keep a browsing history. Your traffic travels inside an encrypted WireGuard tunnel and the app does not read the URLs you visit. We retain minimal connection metadata (connection time, assigned server, bandwidth) for legal compliance and abuse prevention — not your browsing.
For full details, see the Privacy Policy.
Can you see what I do on HTTPS sites?
No. On an HTTPS site the connection is end-to-end encrypted between your device and the destination. We never see page contents, messages, form data, or downloads.
What is threat protection?
While connected, Roamly blocks known phishing, malware, and scam domains at the DNS level so your device doesn't reach them. Security categories are always on; you can manage optional categories in the app's settings.
Why are some sites (banks, e-government, exchanges) blocked when VPN is on?
By design, for your safety. Banks and exchanges often lock accounts that log in via VPN, and regulators require your real location for KYC. Just tap disconnect to access these sites, then reconnect afterwards.
What does "no third-party trackers" mean?
The app and our website do not load Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking SDK. We use first-party logging only — if data is collected, it stays on our servers.
Account
How is my account secured?
You sign in with Apple or Google, so there's no Roamly password to remember or leak. Manage which apps can use your Apple/Google account from your Apple ID or Google Account settings.
How do I delete my account?
Email [email protected] from the address linked to your account and we'll permanently delete it. Backups rotate out within 30 days (except records we must keep for accounting). Cancel your subscription separately in App Store settings.
