Terms of Service

By installing or using Roamly, you agree to these terms. They're short.

1. What Roamly is

Roamly is a Chrome browser extension that proxies your web traffic through servers we operate or rent. It hides your real IP, encrypts your DNS lookups, and filters known fraud/phishing domains. Free users get 5 minutes per day. Paid users get unlimited access.

2. Account

  • You must be at least 16 years old (or the legal age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher).
  • One account per person. No sharing accounts to circumvent the free time limit.
  • Keep your password safe. We're not liable for losses from compromised credentials.
  • Email must be verified before purchase.

3. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use Roamly for:

  • Illegal activity in any jurisdiction connecting through our servers
  • Distributing malware, ransomware, or running command-and-control infrastructure
  • Phishing, fraud, or credential theft
  • Accessing or distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — this is a permanent, no-warning ban with reporting to law enforcement
  • Spam (email, SMS, comment, scraping social media at scale)
  • Hacking, DDoS, port scanning, brute-force attacks
  • Operating commercial services through the VPN connection (e.g. running a server)
  • Bypassing the free time limit through multi-account creation

We reserve the right to terminate accounts violating these rules with no refund. Severe violations are reported to authorities.

4. Pricing and payment

  • Prices listed at /#pricing are exclusive of any local taxes that may apply.
  • All prices are in USD.
  • Premium is a yearly subscription with a 7-day free trial. It renews automatically until you cancel; you can cancel anytime from your dashboard.
  • Payments are processed in USD by Polar, our Merchant of Record (Polar handles billing, receipts, and sales tax/VAT).

5. Refunds

  • Card payments: 14-day full refund, no questions asked. Email [email protected] with your transaction ID.
  • Free trial: no charge during the 7-day trial, so cancelling before it ends costs nothing.
  • Refunds are not given for accounts terminated due to terms violations.

6. Service availability

We aim for 99% monthly uptime but make no guarantee. The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, infrastructure provider issues, or events beyond our control. We do not provide SLA credits at this stage.

7. Logs and law enforcement

We log connection metadata and URLs accessed (see Privacy Policy). We comply with valid legal process from courts of competent jurisdiction. We do not respond to informal requests, foreign requests with no jurisdictional nexus, or non-government parties.

If your account is reported for abuse (CSAM, malware distribution, payment fraud), we will investigate. Confirmed violations result in account termination, evidence preservation, and reporting to relevant authorities where legally required.

8. Disclaimers

Roamly is provided "as is." No warranty of fitness for any particular purpose. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages — including but not limited to lost data, missed business opportunities, or your inability to access a particular service. Maximum total liability is the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.

Roamly is not an anti-virus, anti-malware suite, or replacement for safe browsing practices. Don't click random crypto links. Don't enter your bank password into akbank-tr-online.xyz. Common sense first; VPN second.

9. Termination

You can delete your account anytime from the dashboard. We can terminate accounts for terms violations. Either way, data retention follows the schedule in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be emailed at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the operator is incorporated. Disputes will first be addressed via good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, the competent courts of the operator's incorporation are the exclusive venue.
